CTDSF wishes to thank Jacob Herrera, Restaurant and Catering Manager of the Taos Country Club (TCC), for inviting three board members (Gina, Steve, and Mary) to address the TCC Members at their annual banquet last Friday evening, August 14. Jacob began by explaining that proceeds from this banquet always benefit the high school golf team, but this year, he was adding the CTDSF as a non-profit to support. Jacob then graciously allowed us to speak on behalf of Cathleen’s work, the current needs of individuals with dyslexia in Taos, and the goal of CTDSF in addressing these needs. A number of TCC members thanked us and shared their own stories of being dyslexic.
